From a young age, Jacob has always been concerned with the well being of people and the planet.  Throughout his teens and early twenties he started a couple businesses.  Growing up with a financially stressed household, these business were started to find financial freedom, not happiness.  He has always been concerned about climate change and the problems facing water supplies around the world.  When a friend introduced him to a home builder who mentioned rainwater harvesting to him for the first time, it clicked.  Hydrona is everything he had been searching for.  As of 2020, he was also lucky enough to begin his true passion project with Dan Padgett.  Hydrona : The Clean Water Initiative  was created to provide tanks  and systems for those in need around the world.

Jessica earned a nutrition degree from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, worked as a pastry chef at a four diamond resort, and owned a small business baking cakes. Upon getting married, she was ready for something more. Providing clean water is essential for life and she feels Hydrona is a continuation of her career in helping people live a healthy lifestyle. In the years since Hydrona’s inception, she has enjoyed her role in becoming a licensed specialty contractor building water tanks and managing the bookkeeping responsibilities that encourage the company’s growth.
